History

We are learning about the Ice Age.  We have explored ice and models of landbridges to understand what it must have been like to live during the Ice Age.  We also spoke about Doggerland and the theory that Britain was connected to Europe via a landbridge.

We learned that there weren’t many caves for people to live in during the Ice Age so they had to make shelters from woolly mammoth bones and fur. We explored our forest school site and spoke about how we would make a shelter for ourselves. Team work and family was very important! Then we compared Ice Age homes with our homes we live in today.
