Maths

In Maths we have begun our unit on Place Value. To start us off, we played games outside to remind ourselves of numbers 0 to 20 (which we learned in Reception) by keeping our scores. We also spoke about which score was higher and which score was lower.

We used our knowledge of place value to write a 'recipe' for our own 'potion'.

We then started to explore the two times table.  We used many different resources to help us memorise and use the two times table such as pairs of socks, numicon, ice cube trays and doubling ladybirds.
