Yr4 Science Week

Year 4 really got hands on in their Science Week activities. They looked for environmental factors in habitats and linked maths to science, including finding geometric shapes in bug hotels. They enjoyed taking part in three live farm sessions across the week - Innovation in farming, Vet school and Which came first, the chick or the egg? where the children loved watching a chick hatch. They also challenged themselves with an Under the Microscope competition, which was surprisingly tricky but came up with some really creative guesses!
