Through our collaboration with the STEM Enthuse project, our Science Leads and teacher representativeness from KS1 and KS2 have been receiving high quality training to enable them to support all teachers in Midfield to deliver engaging and memorable science content with confidence.

We have enjoyed a series of fun, informative science staff meetings throughout the year, focussed on subjects that we felt would best meet our needs - how to develop and reinforce the skills of Working Scientifically throughout all year groups, how to encourage and plan for oracy skills, how best to assess learning and how to support the links between learning in science and maths.

Teachers enjoy learning too!
