In year 2 we got Science Week off to a cracking start today. We were very lucky to have Mrs Parusheva, a biomedical scientist specialising in histology, visit us to teach us all about DNA and pH testing; as well as learning about blood types. We learnt to test the pH of samples by using litmus paper and then taking readings from charts. Some of us worked on recording part of our DNA code using colours. What a busy and exciting day we’ve had!
