Applications for primary school places are processed by the admissions teams of your Local Authority – the borough to which your council tax payments are sent.

Children Starting Reception
At Midfield there is a one-point entry to Foundation Stage with most children joining in September.
We offer a gradual, staggered introduction into school life with children staying for mornings for most of the first week, mornings and lunch for the second week, building up to a full school day.
All parents who have registered their child and have been accepted will be invited to attend taster sessions prior to their child starting school.
A meeting is arranged in the summer and autumn terms when parents new to the school have the opportunity to ask questions and meet their children's future teacher.
Other Year Groups
Prospective parents for all other year groups are welcome to visit the school and should contact the school office to arrange a mutually convenient time to visit.
