This year the theme for Earth Day was Restore our Earth! 

At Midfield, we used this opportunity to think out ways in which we can all make a difference both inside and outside of school as in the wise words of David Attenborough - "It's surely our responsibility to do everything within our power to create a planet that provides a home not just for us, but for all life on Earth". The children took part in a range of activities to celebrate this day such as litter picking walks in Scadbury, making recycled paper, gardening, debates and discussions about climate change and some classes created a wonderful class Earth Poem!
