Maths

Weekly maths homework is sent home each Wednesday and is due in by the following Wednesday. Questions build on children's previous learning. Children are encouraged to complete the sheet and mark it using the answers. 

Times Tables

Children are expected to complete TimesTables Rockstars daily. By the end of Year 4, all children should be fluent in all their tables. 

Reading

Children are provided with banded reading books (QTS books) for them to read across the week. It is expected that children read for at least 15 minutes a day before or after school. Each week the children can change their QTS books. Children are then expected to update our class 'Padlet' page.

Homework Menu

A menu of 5 tasks will be published each term. The tasks relate to the learning that children will complete across the term. Children can pick and choose which tasks to complete, but the expectation is that at least two of the tasks are completed. The deadline for these homework tasks are stated on the menu.
