Home Learning

Following feedback from parents, we have reviewed the way we are issuing our Home Learning.

All Home Learning Guides can be found on Class Pages under 'Home Learning' and then under the 'Week Beginning....' Tabs.

As the government have advised, we are utilising national resources from The Oak National Academy and from BBC Bitesize as well as continuing to follow White Rose Hub for maths as this is in keeping with the maths mastery we use in school.

The Oak National Academy is a government-backed online learning platform. It has been created by 40 teachers from some of the leading schools across England and is funded by the Department of Education. The Academy provides access to 180 video lessons per week, for every year group. The lessons span a broad range of subjects, including maths, art and languages, and feature corresponding quizzes and worksheets.

The BBC have provided excellent resources for the wider curriculum and for those who do not have internet access, the BBC have created a series of age-group based lesson, which are available via the red button on your TV set and are available for free on BBC iPlayer.

Teachers will continue to be available for support via Class Dojo.
