At Midfield Primary School, we are lucky to have a magnificent swimming pool, which is used daily to provide swimming lessons to all children from Year 1 through to Year 6. All lessons are taught by a qualified swimming teacher. This has ensured that the number of children leaving Midfield in Year 6 , who are able to swim 25 metres, has increased. As an essential life skill, this is meeting the government directive. In addition, swimming lessons are taught to Reception children after school, where parents are encouraged to watch their child's confidence in the water grow.
