At Midfield, we follow the Core Curriculum when teaching foundation subjects such as History and Geography and in English we base our planning on Read Write Inc and elements of the Power of Reading. We follow the White Rose Maths scheme in Mathematics, but we always start with the child when planning, using the children’s previous knowledge, experiences and interests to motivate, challenge and engage them. 

Outdoor Learning forms and integral part of our pupils' learning at Midfield.  Children have access to the eco-garden, outdoor music classroom, trim trail, swimming pool, Celtic hut and Forest school sites.
